Build healthy families and a strong community by preventing child abuse & neglect. The Volunteer Coordinator VISTA will develop a strong volunteer program to support North Texas children & families.
Member Activities
As the Volunteer Coordinator VISTA, you will help Family Compass break the cycle of poverty by providing families with ongoing access to basic needs assistance such as food, shelter, clothing, healthcare and other ancillary services through the development of a strong volunteer program. Major activities include:
- Creating and implementing a comprehensive volunteer recruitment plan
- Creating and implementing a volunteer onboarding system
- Conduct an agency volunteer needs assessment
- Recognizing volunteer service through appreciation activities
