AmeriCorps - WSC Healthy Futures Program
Washington Service Corps has multiple AmeriCorps positions throughout Washington State.
Most positions are full time 10-1/2 month service terms with a modest living allowance, health insurance, student loan forbearance, and childcare assistance (if eligible).
Upon successful completion of the service term, members become eligible for the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award. The education award (currently $6,195) can be used to pay off student loans, pay tuition, and other college expenses.
Positions in the Healthy Futures focus area will serve at non-profits, state & local governments, and tribal agencies.

- Food bank operations
- Nutrition Education
- Healthy living education
- Access to healthcare
- Increasing independent living skills for seniors and adults with disabilities
