Staff Accountant

ScaleFlux is looking for Full-Time Staff Accountant to join our expanding Finance team in our San Jose office. As a Staff Accountant, you should have basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, understanding in accounting systems, and strong motivation to contribute to the achievement of an efficient monthly/quarterly/annual close. You need to be detail-oriented and deliver results under deadlines as well as work effectively cross-functionally as our company experiences rapid growth.
The position reports to Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities
·        Process vendor invoices by performing 2 way and 3 way matching
·        Process employee expense reports base on company policy
·        Perform vendor payment proposal and process online banking payment
·        Review and manage open Purchase Order and Sales Order
·        Maintain and manage Fixed Assets list and perform monthly reconciliation
·        Review Purchase Request and assign account code
·        Review and maintain vendor files for all vendors
·        Prepare annual 1099, sales/use tax return, and property tax return
·        Reconcile credit card statements and process monthly online credit card payments
·        Perform Bank accounts reconciliations, and assist with month end closing process
·        Contribute, assist, and document new internal control policies and procedures to enhance the workflow of the department and the company
·        Support annual audits and annual corporate income tax filing
·        Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity of financial and company data
·        Participate in other special projects and analyses as needed

Requirements
·        Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
·        2 to 4 years of related work experience
·        Strong desire to learn and grow
·        Ability to work independently and balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously
·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·        Proficient in Excel
·        High degree of analytical and problem-solving capability

Preferred Qualifications

·        Experience with Microsoft AX or Microsoft D365
·        Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
