Content Strategy Specialist

Team Description

Thinktown New York, the American-based division of Thinktown Education, is seeking a motivated Content Strategy Specialist to work full-time in The Personal Planning Team in our New York office. The Personal Planning Team is mainly in charge of content production, marketing and management for Thinktown Education Inc. Our goal is to deliver high-quality content that shows our professionalism in international education and attracts potential clients with engaging storytelling. It is called “personal planning” because we aim to give each of our customers a personalized experience: from the peer mentor community, educational media digest to unique documentation of student journeys, we hope to demonstrate our wholesome care on their roads to a global education. 

Main Responsibilities 

👉 Content production and management (60%)
·      Creative planning and writing for some WeChat account articles
·      Assist the PPT manager to design marketing content for our main products
·      Handle some script writing and post-production for our short video offerings
·      Co-manage Thinktown’s media accounts and platforms
·      Assist the PPT Manager in optimizing Thinktown’s official website content

👉 Operational Management (40%)
·      Participate in weekly team meetings, organize and send meeting notes
·      Assist PPT manager to coordinate with China team for different tasks
·      Keep close tab on the production schedule of marketing content

👉 Educational Background
·      Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a U.S. college, preferably TOP30.
·      Majored in media, journalism, literature, creative writing, psychology, education or related disciplines; if not, work experience or talent in these fields will compensate.
·      Have a good sense of aesthetics and design; proficiency in softwares such as Photoshop or Illustrator preferred (simple design tools like Canva can also suffice).
·      Familiar with video editing, preferably proficient in tools like iMovie/Adobe Premiere/After Effects. 
·      Proficiency in Mandarin
