Serves as an Enforcement Project Manager in the Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management (OCRM) and has programmatic responsibility for environmental quality. Specifically, the employee is primarily responsible for the performance of technical duties necessary for the enforcement of DHEC OCRM regulatory programs in the coastal zone, which encompasses the initiation and coordination of enforcement activities within established guidelines and approved policies and procedures of DHEC OCRM. This process includes interpreting and applying statutes and regulations, preparing enforcement documents, attending meetings with responsible parties and consultants, communicating in writing and verbally with responsible parties and consultants and conducting site evaluations.
