Job Summary

We are looking for someone to provide overall leadership in the planning, delivery and execution of Sekolah Pelita Harapan’s marketing program. The areas covered will include (but not limited to) marketing strategy, student recruitment/admissions, financial aid programs, retention strategy, and alumni relations programs.

The Head of Marketing will work with the School Principals to ensure they have a sound marketing strategy in place. This role works as part of the head office team, to support SPH’s five schools and to ensure that they are supplied with all of the tools required, to position them as a market leader within their sector.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create an annual marketing campaign and strategy for SPH based on market insight (demographic research, market trends, enrollment trends, government strategy and overall business intelligence)
  • Build and deliver marketing campaigns, in line with the brand guidelines, mixing traditional and digital media, ensuring key messages are consistently delivered
  • Identify potential customers and how to communicate with them
  • Develop promotions/offers wherever possible, in partnership with the School Principals and how to launch these to market
  • Build on brand awareness and positioning, across the Company portfolio
  • Oversee the social media marketing strategy and content marketing
  • Carry out competitor analysis, to ensure the company’s marketing strategy is competing effectively
  • Ensure that brand guidelines are adhered to in all marketing activities across the group
  • Manage all media interest across the group, ensure regular contact with target media group and handle all responses to media requests
  • Act as the gatekeeper for all brand guidelines across the group, ensuring all print and electronic materials, such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures are in line with the guidelines
  • Ensure that each subsidiary engages with a diverse audience, ensuring target audiences are communicated with regularly, positively and consistency, measuring impact and effectiveness
  • Ensure the Company has a strong network of outsourced providers to meet all marketing requirements
  • Keep abreast and analyse trends across all sectors, to ensure marketing strategies are adapted, to keep ahead of the competition
  • Ensure that regular market research is carried out across the group, to ensure competitive advantage
  • Ensure that relevant evaluation systems are in place, to measure ROI on all marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Report on all marketing activities to CEO
  • Work closely with other Heads of Departments on company projects
  • Play an active role in the annual business planning process for each subsidiary

Key Skills and Knowledge

  • Previous experience as a Marketing Manager/Head of Marketing is essential

Monthly Salary and Package:

  • 7,000 USD + Housing + Travel + School benefits + Medical Insurance
