Senior Associate

Job Details

Responsible for multiple client engagements and research processes, using expertise and skills in a specified industry, functional and/or geographically based candidate pool. Prepare job specifications and pre-qualified candidates’ interview materials and create clients’ progress reports and presentations. Under the direction of Consultants, participate in client meetings and candidate interviews during the course of search process to advise on candidates’ qualifications.
Reporting directly to the Local Research Directors, Practice Leaders, Associate Practice Leaders, and/or Consultants, Senior Associates will undertake the following tasks:

  • Providing marketing information and potential profiles to demonstrate capability and knowledge of industry or functional areas for preparing qualifications packages
  • Actively participating in client kick-off meetings with Consultants and assisting with the development of the search strategy and targeted lists of companies
  • Preparing job specifications during the designated assignments, reflecting all details from client briefing; conducting third-party sources and preference calls by assessing experiences and critical competencies/ capabilities
  • Conducting candidates’ interviews with Consultants and Executive Assistant to prepare initial drafts of candidates’ reports and presentations, including in-depth experience and competency-based assessment
  • Maintaining dialogue with prospects and candidates throughout the search process as agreed with the Consultants
  • Organizing and preparing updated materials and progress reports, using informed perspectives on marketing, prospects, and candidates
  • Preparing up-to-date search assignments, using candidates’ information and Quest; adhering to Firm’s policies and standards for candidate validation, documentation and assessment; coaching and/or mentoring new team members, and proactively sharing expertise and best practices with the team
  • Contributing to the Firm’s knowledge management activities to define candidate pool, during the course of search process.

Qualifications


Education
Must have bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.

Professional Experience
Must have 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related recruitment or executive search role.

Must have experience with the following essential skill sets:

  • Ability to capture critical qualitative client/candidate information
  • Planning, managing, and/or driving new business development and search assignment supports
  • Performing multiple client engagements through in-depth assessments of business experiences and professional competencies/capabilities for top talents
  • Participating in client meetings and candidate interviews to assess search process; Conducting client briefing, interviews for pre-qualified candidates, progress reports, and/or candidate presentations drafts
  • Market and candidate knowledge - obtains and incorporates knowledge to enhance client work in a meaningful way; and knows how to get information and effectively uses resources
