Practicum Specialist
The University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking a
Practicum Specialist
Grace Abbot School of Social Work
This position is responsible for coordinating practicum programs. The Practicum Specialist I develops and coordinates Practicums on UNO campus for BSSW and MSW. The Practicum Specialist I is responsible for teaching Practicum Seminar in both in-person and virtual environments. The Practicum Specialist I provides Practicum Advisement for students throughout the year and conducts Practicum Orientations in the Fall/Spring Semesters. The Practicum Specialist I acts as Practicum Liaison for students and Practicum Instructors, and provides Practicum Instructor Training’s on a regular basis.
Required Qualifications:
· Master’s in Social Work (MSW) and LCSW;
· Two years post-MSW program development,
· Social Work related administrative experience or experience supervising practicum students;
· Strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to multitask, problem solve, and decision-making skills.
Salary Information: $46,000/year
