School of Nursing Student Services Assistant
RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service (Internal)
Work on special projects and events for Student Services staff, including Assistant Dean for Student Services, Academic Services (undergraduate & graduate), Clinical & Career Services, & Student Life
Customer Services (External)
• Become knowledgeable in the various School of Nursing degree programs, admissions processes, and policies
• Answer all incoming calls and handle caller’s inquiries whenever possible
• Re-direct calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required
Database & Survey
• Schedule and maintain appointments using UT Appointments and Outlook
• Utilize Qualtrics and other survey tools to create and collect student satisfaction surveys and statistics for career workshops, panels, and events
• Input and maintain student/alumni data collected from LinkedIn as well as employer contacts
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications
• Exhibits exceptional professionalism, especially punctuality
• Able to work blocks of 3-4 hour shifts
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Demonstrates strong communication skills, including verbal and written
• Is a self-starter, able to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, creativity and a desire to learn
• Maintains confidentiality of information
• Receptive to feedback
• Keen attention to detail
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for Mac
