Senior Analyst – Distressed/Credit Focused
Q Investments is a $2 Billion private investment firm in Fort Worth, TX.
Our firm is interested in immediately hiring an individual from a top management consulting
firm to join our investment team which handles all our credit, distressed debt and private equity
investments.
We are interested in this individual providing his or her unique perspective and experiences
from the consulting world to assist in the identification and analysis of all potential investment
opportunities. This individual needs to have a passion for investing and a strong desire to work
on the Buy Side. For the successful candidate, our firm will offer total compensation of up to
20% over their present compensation package commensurate with experience.
Position Description
·Developing creative approaches to researching below investment grade credits,
fallen angels and distressed credits
·Assisting in the assessment of new private equity investment opportunities
·Communicating with subject companies, Wall Street analysts and industry experts
·Performing due diligence on private equity deals
·Assisting in the management of portfolio companies, and in some cases serving as a director
·Focusing on personnel selection and financial review of ongoing operations for the various
portfolio companies
·Presenting investment recommendations to the firm's partners and investment committee
·Preparing fundamental analysis of companies from both the equity and bond perspective,
including bankruptcy recovery analysis
·Future growth for a candidate may include: allocation of a pool of capital to run within the
fund, running a portfolio company owned by the investment fund, and/or board directorships
Requirements
·3 years of consulting experience (Corporate Finance Practice, Private Equity Practice,
M&A Practice or similar financially focused practice) with a top consulting firm
·Minimum of 1 year experience managing project teams
·Heavy financial statement analysis and a good understanding of accounting an absolute must
