Brain Vision Fall Intern
Are you ready to work with the latest technology in neuroscience? IF so then BVI is the place for you!
Our interns have the opportunity to gain extensive clinical experience with people who struggle with learning, concussions, traumatic brain injuries, dyslexia, visual processing disorders and more. As an intern you get to learn about the critical role of the visual system as the dominant sense in brain function.
The main responsibilities of the intern include but are not limited to;
- Assisting the vision therapy team in administering patients,filing, creating e-books
- Observe treatment sessions with the objective of eventually performing therapeutic techniques and conducting sessions
- Learn how to perform sensorimotor perceptual based testing on patients, SPECT imaging, primitive reflex testing, IMPACT, Bess, Voms, Interactive Metronome testing, TVPS, and more
- Gain extensive knowledge in differentiation vision verses sight and how vision can affect daily neural functioning, that is displayed through behavior, mental status, mood, gross motor skills, attention, and more
- Network with our affiliate clinics (psychologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, neurobiofeedback experts, brain scene investigators and more)
