Performance Excellence Specialist

Position: Performance Excellence Specialist
Pay Grade: 5
Salary: $35,568.00 - $42,573.08 annually
(Starting salary depends on education and experience)
 
Location: Kansas City, Kansas
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Performance Excellence Specialist is responsible for assessing and monitoring programs to ensure the outcomes and process requirements of the contracts, accreditation, and licensure bodies are met. The Specialist will work with program staff of all levels to support, develop and improve the quality of services being delivered to clients served. Key job duties include conducting monthly case reviews to oversee adherence to accreditation and licensing standards and assessing progress with the identified improvement strategies within the program/department. This position compiles, analyzes, and shares results and trends from monthly and quarterly reports for each program to report outputs and outcomes on performance measures and assist with internal programmatic benchmarking opportunities. The Performance Excellence Specialist is also responsible for evaluating and synthesizing data trends to develop and implement improvement initiatives. The Specialist will assist in the development for forms, reports, and dashboards in the Electronic Health Record database, myAvatar. The Specialist will collaborate with program staff of all levels, building and maintaining trusting relationships and will present information in front of staff to promote engagement in problem-solving and goal-setting.
 
QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree. The ideal candidate will also have at least two (2) to three (3) years of related experience. Must pass a background check, physical and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
