Revenue Cycle Manager

Position: Revenue Cycle Manager
Department: Central Business Office
Pay Grade: 8
Salary: $58,500 - $68,500 per year
(Starting salary depends on education and experience)
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Revenue Cycle Manager provides management oversight for the Accounts Receivable team of the Central Business Office by optimizing the quality and processing efficiency of all Accounts Receivable and claim processes including coding, billing, collections, remittance posting, denial management, and customer service. Primary duties include implementing, managing, and providing oversight to develop processes that result in a consistent and predictable cash flow. The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for initiating, implementing, and subsequent analysis of key financial and metric data for senior management review, subsequent inquiry, presentation of findings, and recommendation for process improvement. This position analyzes trends and creates ad-hoc analytical reports on short term cash flow concerns and account write-off risks that may jeopardize long term strategic financial objectives. The Revenue Cycle Manager position communicates organizational values, strategies and objectives, assigns accountabilities, plans, monitors and appraises employee performance.  
 
QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance with three (3) years of medical billing experience OR equivalent experience in hands-on Accounts Receivable project management and implementation and oversight of E.H.R systems. In addition, three (3) years of progressive management of patient financial services and/or related experience in hands-on Accounts Receivable project management and implementation and oversight and E.H.R. systems is required. The preferred candidate will have knowledge of Netsmart My-Avatar EHR Software. Must pass a background check, physical and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
