Manager-Transitional Youth Behavioral Health Specialist

Position: Manager - Transitional Youth Behavioral Health Specialist
Pay Grade: 5
Salary: $38,058.47 - $51,087.70 annually
(Starting Salary depends on experience and education)
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Transitional Youth Behavioral Health Specialist (TYBHS) Manager observes the interaction, provides daily supervision to staff and clients, and ensures staff follows routines, policies, and treatment plans. This position supports staff and clients with the goal of maintaining a safe therapeutic environment; maintains emotional and physical safety and crisis management for the staff and client. TYBHS Manager oversees the planning and coordination of staff, provides coaching, training, and performance management to assigned staff per department and agency standards. Ensures all staff is completing and turning in the proper documentation as required per agency policy. This position provides customer service to client guardians and support workers; manages the Independent Living Skills Program; coordinates and collaborates with community stakeholders for guest speakers and schedules daily living skills and may oversee the administration of client medications.
 
QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or other human services related field and three (3) to five (5) years of experience. Must pass a background check, physical, and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
