Designer Plumbing-Hardware Assistant
Natural Selections is currently seeking a hard-working individual to fill the Plumbing/Hardware Assistant position. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining the first impression of our designer plumbing/hardware showroom and services. The ideal candidate should be personable, adaptable, and hardworking. No two customers are alike making every day different from the last. The Plumbing/Hardware Assistant supports the manager for these product categories in the sale, acquisition, and delivery of material. The assistant is also responsible for communicating with various plumbing and hardware vendors to secure necessary support materials and information. This position provides vital support to our Plumbing and Hardware operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned as your role develops)
- Prepare estimates, sales orders, and related support documents
- Assist showroom/walk-in clients with product selection as needed
- Track incoming products and schedule deliveries
- Establish new and maintain current relationships with vendors and clients
- Make job site visits to gather information and/or evaluate installation needs
- Organize and maintain plumbing/hardware showroom displays
- Maintain plumbing/hardware showroom presentation and cleanliness
Skills and Experience Required for Success
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have excellent organizational skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must be proficient in Photoshop
- Experience using QuickBooks – preferred
- 2+ years customer service/sales experience – preferred
- Background in finished plumbing and hardware products highly valued
