The candidate will:
- Provide tool support to design team members implementing System-on-Chip (SOC) designs (Synthesis, Static Timing, DFT, Place and Route tools)
- Maintain, debug, and develop flows for use by diverse teams to facilitate System-on-Chip (SOC) development
- Document processes and flows
- Interface with SOC implementation teams to understand their needs and ensure the developed flow meets these needs
Job Requirements
- BSEE or equivalent (MSEE preferred)
- Working knowledge of Verilog/System Verilog for synthesis
- Understanding of SOC architecture and design Fundamentals (Timing, DFT, etc.)
- Knowledge of SOC implementation tool fundamentals – synthesis, formal verification, static timing analysis (Design Compiler/Genus, Formality/LEC, PrimeTime/Tempus or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux
- Proficiency in common scripting languages (Tcl, Perl, Python, csh, etc.)
- Familiarity with revision control tools (Git, SVN, ICManage, etc.)
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong desire and ability to learn
