The candidate will:
  • Provide tool support to design team members implementing System-on-Chip (SOC) designs (Synthesis, Static Timing, DFT, Place and Route tools)
  • Maintain, debug, and develop flows for use by diverse teams to facilitate System-on-Chip (SOC) development
  • Document processes and flows
  • Interface with SOC implementation teams to understand their needs and ensure the developed flow meets these needs

Job Requirements
  • BSEE or equivalent (MSEE preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Verilog/System Verilog for synthesis
  • Understanding of SOC architecture and design Fundamentals (Timing, DFT, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SOC implementation tool fundamentals – synthesis, formal verification, static timing analysis (Design Compiler/Genus, Formality/LEC, PrimeTime/Tempus or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux
  • Proficiency in common scripting languages (Tcl, Perl, Python, csh, etc.)
  • Familiarity with revision control tools (Git, SVN, ICManage, etc.) 
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong desire and ability to learn
