Field Application Specialist, NeoAntigen Peptide

Description

The Field Application Scientist (FAS) is responsible for supporting sales of GenScript’s NeoAntigen peptide service line within the North America region. The FAS will have a deep understanding of the requirements for industrial applications, enabling them to build strong relationships with key customers, understand their requirements, make and deliver informative presentations, be able to propose solutions and handle objections during onsite visits to drive revenue growth in this portfolio.

Essential Responsibilities:
The FAS will be expected to support customers by providing expert advice and application support, develop solutions and respond to customers’ technical/process questions in order to develop collaborative relationships with our customers, to effectively drive revenue from new sources.

• Organize and deliver features, benefits and application demonstrations to customers, visit customer sites, and follow up on missing or necessary information needed for customer decision making process.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to customers and sales teams.
• Identify and partner with key opinion leaders to develop proof-of-concept data for both product development and commercialization activities.
• Identify gaps and process improvements to improve GenScript’s services and solutions; provide customer and market feedback to internal stakeholders including Marketing, Sales and R&D.
• Develop and maintain relationships with GenScript commercial teams, as well as the global product managers, project management, production and R&D teams.

Requirements
• PhD in life science or biology, with hands on laboratory experience is required.
• >2 years Technical Support or FAS experience is required.
• Knowledge of the life science reagent market with an emphasis on one or more of the following: immunoassays, flow cytometry, cancer vaccines, and cell therapy.
• Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to operate effectively and succeed in an international business environment.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
