EHS & Equipment Coordinator

Coordinator of EHS & Equipment

Description
We are the world’s leading biology research service company and our business is growing. We are looking for an Environmental, Health, Safety, and Equipment Coordinator. In this role, you will assist with designing, developing, and maintaining educational and written programs to support regulatory compliance and accident prevention efforts. You will also ensure all safety programs are in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements. Job Duties
  • Establish a compliance system to achieve EHS/OSHA standard.
  • Develop safety management and hazard elimination/prevention programs and procedures to ensure a safe workplace for all employees.
  • Arrange health and safety training, including new employee orientation and ongoing training programs. 
  • Update and maintain statistical reporting and compiles weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Maintain compliance with company internal policies and procedures to address loss prevention and control.
  • Monitor and keep required records of each operation to demonstrate compliance with all federal, state, county and local operating permits.
  • Engage in construction projects and ensure the projects meet the deadline.
  • Monitor all of the equipment and maintain all of the related records. 
  • Respond to emergency calls in a timely manner.
  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: EHS or Chemical Engineering
  • 2+ years’ experience in facility environmental, health and safety compliance
  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Excel
  • EHS certifications such as, CSP, CIH, or CHMM are beneficial
  • Working knowledge in project management
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese is preferred
