Claims Strategic Contingent Worker

This Contingent Worker position is comprised of three tasks to support our Claims Strategic Partnerships team. The tasks are to be completed remotely with daily interaction and oversight from various team members. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and inter-personal skills as you will need to meet with many other Claims team members and possibly even external vendors/suppliers. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be very organized, have high attention to detail, have strong PowerPoint skills and is savvy working with web-based software. This is a 6-8 week role.

The 3 tasks are:
1)     Contracts Document Management: Find, upload and organize all our active external vendor contract documents into the software CobbleStone. Fill in selected data fields, such as contract start and end dates, types of service, line of business, and billing and invoicing information. Then you’ll need to run reports to understand contract document gaps, contracts ending soon, billing terms, vendors by types of service, etc. To do this, we will grant you access to our software system and train you on how to use it. You will need to meet with many internal stakeholders and possibly external partners to collect the documents. 75% of time.

2)     Approved Vendor List: Coordinate with our Corporate Procurement team to enter all our approved external vendors into the Oracle Procure2Pay software so that we have a central Corporate list of all approved vendors. To do this, you will coordinate with our procurement colleagues to provide the list, follow up and help answer any questions. 5% of time.

3)     New Vendor PowerPoint 1-Pager: Build a 1-2 slide PowerPoint template for basic due diligence of a new vendor and initial questions to ask during a demo, presentation or meeting. The goal is to have a standard slide our team can use to fill in basic information about a new vendor or service that will give a high level overview of who the company is, what their solution/product is, what services it addresses, whether we have other vendors performing the same service, etc. Additionally, we would like 1 slide of initial and basic questions to ask during the meeting. You will interview a few pre-selected team members to collect the information and then build the template. This task requires familiarity using PowerPoint. 20% of time.

Background of our team: we are a new team of 6 individuals tasked with centralizing, strengthening and building all external vendor/supplier relationships in order to reduce costs, drive efficiency and integrate innovation into the Claims lifecycle. We are a remote team based in Illinois, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Florida.
