Robotic Electrical Engineer

“TELEXISTENCE” is a concept that was first proposed in 1980 by Dr. Susumu Tachi, Professor Emeritus of the University of Tokyo and the chairman of TELEXISTENCE Inc., which refers to the notion of human beings in effect being in a place other than where he or she actually exists and being able to act freely in that remote environment – essentially expanding the presence of human beings – as well as the technological systems that make this possible.

Job Description
1. Investigate and design electrical systems and components to meet requirements.
2. Design electrical schematics, board layout of PCB assemblies.
3. Manage 3rd party manufactures to provide designed electrical components.
4. Evaluate designed electrical components and solve issues that we found in the evaluation.
5. Develop firmware of microcontroler (e.g. STM32) on the electrical board.
6. Documentation of designed resources.

Requirement
1. 5+ years professional experience as electrical engineer
2. Experience of mass-manufacturing (ability to handle to manufacture at least more than 1,000 units produts, how to prevent EMI error)
3. Knowledge of electrical engineering for robotics (e.g. schematics to drive brushless-motor, how to drive stepping motor, how to avoid braking the board from regenerative current of the motor)
4. Programing skill of STM32 microcontroller
5. English / Japanese (nice to have)
