QUALITY ENGINEER - Sr. QUALITY SCIENTIST - Sr. QUALITY ENGINEER - QUALITY ASSURANCE - DURHAM, NEW HAMPSHIRE
- Provide technical guidance for quality management system implementation on government and commercial projects conducted under recognized quality standards for hardware, software and manufacturing.
- Help formulate quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Perform project-level quality audits and surveillances to determine and evaluate the level of compliance.
- Acting as an integral team member, support product development and QA related project management activities from the proposal stage through product delivery and warranty service activities.
- Interface with project engineers and Division management, as well as customer, supplier, and contract representatives as necessary on quality-related issues.
- Review solicitations and prepare proposals and cost estimates for satisfying quality requirements. Recommend revisions of specifications when indicated.
- Perform contract reviews, prepare project quality plans, review purchase requisitions and coordinate inspection, test monitoring and surveillance programs to verify compliance. May conduct training on quality assurance concepts and tools.
- Participate in the review and disposition of nonconforming material as part of a Material Review Board and perform investigation and analysis to determine root cause, corrective action, and preventive action.
- Design, install, and evaluate quality assurance process sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques.
- Communicate and coordinate daily with project personnel and QA engineers, scientists, inspectors, and management.
- Conduct supplier quality assessments to meet contractual requirements.
- Perform Quality assurance inspections.
