Technology Infrastructure Manager

We actively seek a Technology Infrastructure Manager to lead the design and performance of our technology infrastructure at JAARS. This opportunity features managing technology staff, leading complex projects and providing hands on technical responsibilities as needed. Key infrastructure systems include End-user hardware, Microsoft Windows, ChromeOS, Servers, and Network technology.




Position Responsibilities

  • Manage JAARS end-user devices (Desktop, Laptop, Tablets)
  • Windows, ChromeOS, MacOS, IOS
  • Assist with the development of approved hardware lists
  • Technology Asset management system
  • Deployment and support strategy
  • Maintain and upgrade Windows servers and Windows administration
  • Update server backups
  • Manage the JAARS network & Wifi by working with our supporting vendors
  • Lead the JAARS Infrastructure, working closely with other team members in
  • Technical Support - Service Desk team
  • Technical Systems
  • Projects
  • Collaborate in information security efforts in conjunction with our supporting vendor
  • Stay informed about new technology tools that enhance the performance and productivity of our infrastructure


Position Requirements

  • Interpersonal skills: customer-oriented thinking, servant heart attitude, interact positively and collaborate as a member or leader of a team
  • A learner and self-starter with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple responsibilities and attending to detail
  • Goal- and completion-oriented, able to independently develop approaches to complex systems, process redesign, and analyze problems
  • Experience as a Windows Network Administrator, and a minimum of 2 years in a system or application administration, or related role
  • Experience with Google G Suite, Chrome OS, MacOS, Understanding of Service Management; some of the desired experience may have to be gained as on-the-job training and experience
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field; professional certificates preferred
