Business Development - Singapore, Logistics Operations
The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.
Job Description:
- Maintain and expand Shopee Singapore’s logistics network to provide adequate capacity, high reliability and an excellent customer experience
- Analyse logistics data and identify both short-term challenges and long-term areas of improvement
- Work with product and regional operations team to prioritise and deliver logistics projects
- Collaborate with marketing and BD team in logistics related product launches in Singapore
- Lead knowledge management, maintain logistics related internal and external knowledge base
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) discipline
- 1 - 3 years of experience preferred
- Familiarity with SQL and/or Python
- Keen interest in e-commerce, attention to detail and interest in numbers
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated initiative, persistence and ability to deliver impact
- Excellent analytical problem solving ability
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- A dynamic, results driven personality, high level of enthusiasm and commitment
- A good team player
